Get a private section on the forums for your guild only!

If you have a large guild and would like a member only area on the forums where only you and your guild can post messages, hunt times, rules, etc, let me know.

I would prefer for only active guilds that really would benefit from this (such as larger guilds).
Only a guild master/leader can ask for this section, and that same person will become the leader of that section being able to add/remove ppl at will to give access to viewing the area. Only members of the guild group are able to view posts, make posts, etc.

How it works to add/remove permission to use guild section? does it need a password to access forums or can masters only give permissions to use that section somehow?

it doesent need password... i remember before wipe we had STRONG MEN section here. and GuildMasters were able to add ppl who can go to private section... and it only shoved to ppl who were in...

How to Add people to your Private Guild Section?

Answer : Groups -> Survivors -> (Scroll down, and you can see Add, type name and Enter ) -> a new member in Private guild forum.

Your private guild forum has been created.

Lycanth you are the group/guild leader, which means ONLY you can add/remove people from the group.
Also only you can sticky/edit/modify posts in that area (not the entire forums). I have disabled banning but if you find you are able to, please do not do so. Just remove people from the group if you want to deny access.

Being a member of the group means that someone can view and post in your private area.
Game Masters and Forum Moderators are still able to see/post/etc, we wont monitor it as much as other places obviously but dont go overboard. Its for the guild anyways.

To manage your private area:
Click Groups(groupcp.php) at the top of the forum, then select Guild: Survivors
Then you will see yourself as the group leader.
Below that you you can add and remove people.

I responded to your ticket asking for more info but you never responded back.

Anyways I have created the forum section which you are the moderator of (sticky posts, edit, etc). To allow someone access to the private guild area, you will need to click on Groups at the top (groupcp.php) then type their forum name in and select add. That should allow them to see the private guild area.

Try to keep it active!
